Christine M. Smith

CPA

Christine joined the firm in 1989, shortly after her graduation from Northwood University, located in Midland, Michigan, where she graduated with High Honors, majored in accounting, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

During her tenure at Bengtson & Smith, Christine has worked with our broad base of clients to provide all facets of business accounting, tax preparation, and business/individual planning services. She specializes in the accounting and tax planning needs of closely-held and family owned businesses. Her clients include automotive dealerships, manufacturing companies, retail establishments, legal and medical services.

Christine possesses a strong ability to address the client’s personal needs through her understanding of their individual requirements thereby presenting financial solutions directed to each specific challenge. She prides herself on the level of personal service that she provides and her proactive approach to the ever-changing business climate.

Christine resides in Farmington with her husband and two children and serves as a board member of the Noah Wallace Fund Committee and treasurer of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. She is also active in the Non-Profit Organization Dining for Women, which empowers women and girls living in extreme poverty in developing countries. Christine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
